The Sensory sign, wriggle and rhyme program has been designed, developed and implemented by Claire Walby-Kettle.

Claire is an experienced and very well qualified Teacher who has had many exciting roles; Class teacher for Nursery, Reception and Key stage 1 , Nursery Unit Head Teacher, member of early years development team and an evaluator of the foundation stage profiling system for the QCA to name just a view.

Claire’s qualifications include a BA hons degree in English, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, (Early Years), and a Post Graduate Diploma in Early Years Education; (just a thesis away from a Masters).

Since Claire had her own babies, she has worked with younger and younger children; running a day-care service, Ante Natal co-ordinator for the National Childbirth Trust and ultimately training as an Infant Massage Instructor and Baby Sign language Teacher. After years of working with young children and their families + attending hundreds of baby and toddler groups with her own children, Claire decided to start her own early years program; Sensory Sign, Wriggle and Rhyme.

The ethos behind Sensory Sign, wriggle and Rhyme is to aid baby’s development whilst supporting and empowering parents. Claire has designed the Sensory Sign program to be a fun and wonderful experience for parents and babies to share together, a time when magical memories are formed and great foundations are laid.
